We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website and your stay in our company.
What is personal data?
Personal data is all information about the personal and factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, information such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address. Information that cannot be used to identify you, such as your age, gender or professional training, is not personal data.
Data that we collect when you contact us
If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. Your name and an e-mail address are initially sufficient for this purpose. The disclosure of this data on your part is expressly voluntary. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Bookings via airbnb
We treat data that we receive through enquiries and bookings via the airbnb platform with the same care as when you book directly with us. Details of airbnb’s privacy policy can be found on the online portal.
Deposits
For final confirmation of the reservation, we ask our guests for a deposit, which is usually made in the form of a bank transfer. The account information entrusted to us through this process (in the bank statement on receipt of payment) is neither stored, processed nor passed on to third parties.
Data within the scope of the Austrian reporting obligation
We are legally obliged to report the data (name, address, date of birth, length of stay) of all guests to the municipal office on the day of arrival. The registration form must be completed and signed by you personally. You are free to provide any other personal details. We do not pass this information on to anyone other than the responsible office at the municipal office.
The data is transmitted via the web application ‘feratelDeskline MeldeClient’, a product of feratel media technologies AG, Maria-Theresien-Straße 8, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria.
According to information from the municipal office, the collected registration data of all guests without personal data is forwarded to Statistics Austria and the Province of Styria. This only includes figures on overnight stays and number of stays. All data is stored for 7 years.

Accounting
During your stay, all costs incurred (accommodation, consumption, taxes, etc.) are stored by us in our in-house PMS (Property Management System). For invoicing purposes, this data is linked to your reservation and therefore also to your personal data.
Data from access to our website / server log files
Our web space provider collects data about every access to our website (so-called server log files). This access data includes Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
We only use the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the website. However, we reserve the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Cookies
Our website also uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

Right of cancellation, amendments, corrections and updates
Every user has the right, upon request, to receive information free of charge about the personal data that has been stored about them. In addition, every user has the right to correct incorrect data, block and delete their personal data, insofar as this does not conflict with any statutory retention obligation.
We reserve the right to check the identity of the applicant in advance for each application before it is processed further.
